SBM Prize

lampThe SBM Prize distinguishes the best original research paper in Mathematics published in recent years by a young mathematician working in Brazil. Evaluation is based on the following parameters: originality, relevance, depth and potential impact in the field.

The SBM Prize is granted in odd numbered years, on the occasion of the Brazilian Mathematical Colloquium. The amount of the Prize, the membership of the evaluation committee, and the precise requisites and procedures for candidacy are defined by the Regulation of the SBM Prize, approved by the Directing Council of SBM for each edition of the Prize.
